E.M. Zolotor was born in 1995 and grew up in the Midwest. He was raised with a family library and has been surrounded by books his entire life. He first carried around handwritten stories written on stacks of paper as a child and never stopped writing and drawing. Now, Ethan is an author, illustrator, and engineer. He went on to engineer formula-e cars, laser systems, hybrid- electric boats, and windmills—all the while working on his stories during late nights. Inspired by fantasy literature, anime/manga, and western comics and cinema, E.M. Zolotor brought to life Hyperborea. Hyperborea has been featured at Tokyo Comic Con (being made into a skateboard) and is currently up for an award with the manga company in Japan, Shonen Jump
