Panel Application
Apply to run a panel or event at the convention. The deadline is May 12, 2024. We'll review all panel applications and notify applicants via email. Panels are approved selectively due to limited space. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. You'll receive written approval from the Panel Manager or Director of Programming if your panel is approved.

Before submitting a panel application, please read the rules and FAQ listed below.

Panel space is 30ft x 90ft

1ft riser stage will be provided

6 lounge chairs will be provided on stage

1 coffee tables

4 Mic

100 seatings will be provided

Do not remove equipment from the room.

Tech staff will assist take down/set up any equipment.

What is a panel?
A panel is a educational room that is curated to help educate guests about a certain topic from anywhere to Japanese culture, anime, games, and/or other related topics. Some panels may include games or quizzes, how-tos, or an introduction to a topic.

How do I know my panel application was submitted?
You will receive an email notifying you that your application was submitted successfully.
I have a question about panels. Who do I ask?

What if i need extra equipment?
The panel room will provide the base necessity to run any kind of panel from TV, mic, chairs, and speakers. If you need additional setup or decor Tokyo X will not be held liable. But never hurts to ask.
How long does my panel have to be?
Panels can run from 45min to as long as 2hrs, the team will evaluate scheduling once approved
How do i display my content?
A TV with an adapter will be provided to plug a laptop or tablet/phone to show content
Who will control speakers and sound?
We will have a designated team to the area
