Kaz Kobayashi

Kaz Kobayashi is a Japanese actor, writer, and choreographer specializing in Tate (Japanese sword combat). He has built a distinguished career performing in stage productions, television, and films in Japan. His film credits include Rurouni Kenshin Part II: Kyoto Inferno (Warner Bros.), where he demonstrated his expertise in samurai swordplay.

As a Tate-shi (sword fight choreographer), Kaz merges traditional Japanese martial arts with theatrical action, creating realistic and dynamic fight sequences. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to teach and choreograph sword combat, contributing to various productions and training actors in the art of Japanese swordplay.  He has grown fame on his Youtube for his samurai courses.
